Writing history

“History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.” Winston Churchill

We are writing history each day. Yesterday has already been written. Tomorrow will always be tomorrow.

Today holds the world for each of us. How will you write the story?

The push is worth it

As the days pass we can grow tired and weaken in our resolve. We may not want to take the action this day but really this is the only day to take the action. Tomorrow arrives as another day but we can never reclaim the missed time/action.

You were made for this day. We have what it takes to push through for this day.

The push is worth it.

Are you waiting for life to begin?

You are made for today. Today is your birthright to claim. Today sets up your beautiful tomorrow for ever and ever.

Stay with me here and you will understand this deeper.

Most of us are waiting for “some day” to arrive. We say; “When I graduate, When I make more money, When the kids are gone, When. . .”

Are you ready? Here is the deeper understanding for us to stop waiting for life to begin.

“My answer is to redefine the question. Not only do we have to be good at waiting, we have to love it. Because waiting is not waiting, it is life. Too many of us live without fully engaging our minds, waiting for that moment when our real lives begin. Years pass in boredom, but that is okay because when our true love comes around, or we discover our real calling, we will begin. Of course the sad truth is that if we are not present to the moment, our true love could come and go and we wouldn’t even notice. And we will have become someone other than the you or I who would be able to embrace it. I believe an appreciation for simplicity, the everyday-the ability to dive deeply into the banal and discover life’s hidden richness-is where success, let alone happiness, emerges.” (The Art of Learning – Josh Waitzkin)

The wait is over.
